This week for reading i practice on how to explore the authors purpose for the text

i found the task to be easy i had to read text 1 and summarise the story i was reading about. the story i was reading about was a big breakfast how it can help you lose weight

i learnt how to know by not having unhealthy breakfast witch is nutria grain and coco pops and all the cereals breakfast because they are all filled with sugar

R34 GT-R at Hampton Downs for the Chrome Expression Session

It is one beautiful Sunday morning and i have to wake up my wife, Ashley and our two kids, Megan and Kevin so that we can get ready to go to Hampton downs for the chrome expression session witch is a type of car show. It took us 49 minutes to get there but before we could go to the enormous track i had to ring my mate up and see if he could bring his truck with about 10 gas cans for my car so that i can keep on racing and i told him if he could bring some spare wheels and tyres for when my tyres that are on the car already wear out from drifting and going on the burnout pad.

After i got the tyres it had to go and get some petrol cause i was on a half tank. When i finished filling up the car with petrol, it was time to hit the road and get to Hampton downs. As we got to Hampton's, a security in a yellow vest asked me“are you racing”and i said “yes”. So i drive the car up to the track entry, had to register the car to race on the track and i realised i was on a half tank of fuel but i told myself “this fuel should last me till lunch”.

As i went in i found me a two parking spots for my car and my mate truck. So i turned the car around, chucked the gear in reverse and just went and shut the car off. After i had turned the car off i told everybody to get out of the car so that i could lock it. As i locked the car i told my wife to take Megan with her to go for a walk and i took Kevin with me to go look at the spanking modified cars.

As Kevin and i were walking along i had to ring my wife up to tell her to meet back at the car in half an hour so that i can get the car ready by checking everything that may be loose like my brakes, tyres are bolted on, my suspicion and to check my engine to see if nothing is going to blow up. After i had checked the car i told everybody to get in the car so that we can go for a drive your mate session witch we didn’t have long time to wait witch is 15 minutes.After 15 minutes it was time for us to wait at the pit exit. We only waited 5 minutes before we could go on the enormous Hampton downs race circuit.

When the 5 minutes was over it was time for us to go and have some fun in my ear splitting Nissan R34 GT-R. During the drive your mate session out of nowhere there was another ear splitting Nissan Silvia S15 that just randomly came up beside my car. We went for a short cruise around the track but on one of the straights where we do drags we did a little race to see who the fastest is and it was my R34 GT-R that won the race because i went up to 110 km/h and dropped 30 km/h to slow down to go around a corner.

After the Drive your mate session was over i decide to go to the drift track and do a bit of drifting. Before i could go down to the drift track i had to get my mate to bring his truck down to the track so that i can change the tyres there and to take my front and back bumper off so that it don’t break my bumpers during my drifting time. As i was drifting i did a cocky move that nobody could do. The move that i did was when i turned to the inside of the drift track pulled the hydraulic handbrake and did a 360 turn and carried on drifting.

As i was still drifting i notice in my mirror not much smoke was coming off my tyre. I stopped drifting and drove the car around the drift track and went into the pits to change my tyres. After i changed the tyres i went back to the drift track entry and waited till no cars were coming. As i was waiting to go out onto the track 3 people who is a professional drifter called Nico reid, Doni d (Drew Donovan) and Jodie Verslute  came up to me and said “that was some crazy 360 spin you did there”. I said “yeah i just came up with that trick when i was drifting and i don’t think anybody has done that trick before”. Nico Reid Said “i do a 360, only on a burnout, not on a drift. But you know i could get brendon white and you can show him what you did out there”. I said “sure is he here” Nico Reid said “Yeah he is just at the burnout pad”. I said “yeah bring him here”. So Nico Reid called Brendon White and i reversed the car out of the lane and let the other drive’s though so that they can go on the track. In about 5 minutes brendon White was by my car and we had a little chat. Brendon White said “i heard that you did an amazing trick while you were drifting”. I said “Yeah just came up with that trick when i was drifting”. Brendon White said “show me”. Before i could show the trick to Brendon, i had to get the security to get the driver’s off the track so that i could show the trick to everybody, including Brendon White.

As i made my way out of the pits i had to try and concentrate on my speed so that i don’t over power the car. As i reached the last corner i had to pick up speed and at least  reach 80 km/h. At my drifting point and i pulled the hydraulic handbrake and spun the car around into a 360 mode and carried on drifting. When i got to the straight i pulled the hydraulic handbrake and my parking brake and stopped at the pit exit and everybody was cheering for me for my amazing trick that i had done.

When everybody was cheering for me i decided to do a burnout until i popped my tyres witch took 2 minutes

to do. After my burnout i had to go back into the pits put some new tyres on my car and put my bumpers back on. But before i could leave Brendon white said to me “you know, you do a pretty good drifter and do amazing tricks that no one can do”. After i had a good time at the drift track it was time for me to head back to my parking spot parked the car up and went for a walk to look at all the cars.

As i was walking i heard an announcement from Brendon White. He said “could the car with this number plate please come to the drift track R34 GT-R. that's when i notice it was my car to go down to the drift track and i know what was going to happen. Brendon White was going to ask me if i can do the trick again to everyone who was coming down to the drift track.

As i was going down to the drift track i checked my fuel and i was empty bar. So i had to hurry up and get down to the drift track and fuel my car up so that i don’t run out of gas while i’m drifting. As i was getting ready i had to take my bumpers off so that i don’t break them. After i took my precious bumpers off i went out onto the track and on the last corner i had to pick up speed and at least reach 80 km/h and at my drifting point i pulled the hydraulic handbrake and spun the car around into a 360 mode and carried on drifting while the crowd was screaming and yelling and surprised of what i had done. As i came to the pit exit i pulled my hydraulic handbrake and my parking brake. I had come to a complete stop, i got out of my shining blue R34 GT-R, i waved to the crowd and to be more crazy i revved my car up then i went back into the pits to put my bumpers back on and went back to my car park and i thought that was enough racing for today.

When i was thinking about finishing racing for the day, i thought at the same time “i could do the drive your mate session one last time. So i had the chance to do one more drive your mate session but this time it was just me racing with the other drivers on the track. Before i could go for the drive your mate race i seen Brendon White with his drift and the D1NZ drifters with there car and i felt the wanted to go for a cruise around the track with me because i did the insane trick move on the drift track. During the drive your mate witch i called drive with the D1NZ drifters, on the 5th straight, me and the D1NZ drifters stopped on the straight and we made the crowd come over. While the crowd was coming over we did some burnouts to make the crowd happy and it was so fun i got out of my car and revved my car up followed by the drifters then we went back up to our car parks and to get ready to leave.

As for me i was getting the car ready to leave and go home but for one more time i went into the skid pan and did one more burnout and did one more rev for everyone and then i put some new tyres on got my wife and kids to hop in the car and went home and it was a ear splitting day at the enormous Hampton Downs race circuit.

R34 GT-R SKYLINE going to the illegal drags

It was one warm night at Waikaraka speedway with the modified dirt cars racing other drivers around the track.After 10 rounds of racing around the muddy clay it was time for the smoking burnout cars to come onto the burnout pad.Most of the burnout cars were Japanese car like a Toyota supra mark 4, Nissan Silvia S15, Nissan Skyline R32/33/34 GT-R, Mazda RX-7, Nissan 200sx Silvia.

The burnout from every car was solid and my burnout in my R34 GTR but to make it more interesting i turn my neon lights on for the crowd because i had normal tyre smoke so it thought i might put them on so that the crowd would think the smoke is blue but it is just the Neons shining on the smoke witch i thought was cool and it was a loud night at Waikaraka.

After burnout cars did some awesome burnout’s we had to leave to get to our other destination which is in the city with the other boy racer’s.when we got there they were starting to get a move on so i asked one of the boy racers “where are we heading to” and he said “ Industry Road”, so i followed the pack when then i realized i was leading the pack cause i am to fast in a R34 GT-R.

When we went to Industry rd the boy racers started to do some decent  burnouts.When the boy racers were doing skids, i knew that there was going to be some drags going on before the cops were going to come.After Industry rd we went to a road called Hugo Johnston Drive.As soon as we got there i switched my car off but when i looked in my rear view mirror and my side mirror’s i  seen two bright red and blue lights shining at my car like the seven sisters of Matariki, then my head started to spin, it was the cops that were shining there bright red and blue lights in my mirror.

So i switch my car on put it in first gear, take the handbrake off and and drive away because the cops were going to block us in.lucky all of the boy racers made it out onto the main road so that we could go to a new destination which was Mt Wellington at the shopping center.We hung around there for about 20-25 minutes then we went to Takanini.When we got there the road we were going to was Rangi rd connected with westbrook ave to do a bit of donuts and burnouts.Every boy racer used there parking brake to make the spin around in circle and there excelerator to do there burnout but for me i used my hydraulic handbrake to spin the car around and used the excelerator to give the car more power to spin around and used my parking brake for the burnout.

After the burnouts it was time to leave but we left i told one of boy racers “watch how fast my car is and how loud it is” and he said “yeah” so i made my way down the other end of Rangi rd to the other end but before i could i had to get the boy racers out of my way so there had to get there car somewhere safe for me not to hit them.When there moved out of my way i went to the no exit area, pulled my hydraulic handbrake to warm my tyres up then i was off down the road past the boy races at 120 km/h an hour.When i got down to the end of the road i hit 280 km/h.

After i went down rangi rd at 280 km/h it was time to go home. so i cruised home but before i could go home i stopped at the gas station to fuel up my car then went home and the other boy racers decided to cruise home as well.As i got home i thought i might change my tyres because i weared the tyres out left with absolutely no tread and i put the axe rims with fresh tyres on my car and put my other rims and tyres in the garage for memories and it was one loud night at Waikaraka speedway and illegal drags
